Yoel manages Fitch Solutions’ political risk analysis and coordinates the publication of Fitch Solutions’ quarterly Global Political Outlook and thematic special reports. His areas of focus include domestic political and social transformation, regional security risks, great power rivalry, and long-term forecasting. He is also responsible for crafting risk scenarios for 'low probability-high impact' events. Yoel has a Bachelor’s degree in geography from Oxford University, and a Master’s degree in Theory and History of International Relations from the London School of Economics (LSE). He has worked at Fitch Solutions since 2003 and was Head of Asia Research from 2006-2009.
Anna-Marie Baisden has headed Fitch Solutions’ Automotive research team since 2005 and extensively covers the global autos market. Key new developments such as electrification of vehicles, the rise of autonomous driving and new fuels are among the core topics Anna-Marie leads her team to research. She is responsible for the production and coordination of Fitch Solutions’ auto industry content across the global analyst team. Anna-Marie regularly contributes op-ed pieces for leading industry publications such as Automotive World, and is regularly called on for her expertise on major news programs such as the BBC World Business Report and CNBC.
Michelle Berman is responsible for Fitch Solutions' consumer research, bringing together the Food and Drink and Retail teams to produce holistic outlooks at the sector, country and global level. Prior to her current role, Michelle launched and managed our Operational Risk product. She has also headed up the company’s Shipping and Freight Transport teams. Based in London, Michelle joined Fitch Solutions in 2007. Prior to that, she held positions in the financial services sector. Michelle holds a BA from University College London, she also studied at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
Mandeep manages our Data team. His team is responsible for the company's forecasting methodologies, including monitoring our forecasting success, and data sourcing and update practices. Based in London and heavily involved in our South Africa office, Mandeep has been at the company since 2014. Mandeep holds a Joint BA Hons, in Accounting & Business and a Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt. Prior to joining Fitch Solutions, Mandeep worked for Standard & Poor's as a Data Analyst covering Structured Finance and Leveraged Finance content.
Nick Jotischky heads up the Custom Research Practice. Working closely with sales and analyst teams, Nick helps customers as they assess new market opportunities, plan for strategic growth, articulate their expertise in a market through thought leadership programs, and evaluate their competitors and future customers. Nick worked at Fitch Solutions between 2000 and 2007, managing the Industry portfolio. He left in 2007 to join Informa Telecoms & Media (now Ovum), where he initially headed up the emerging markets telecoms practice, and later directed the consulting practice until 2016, when he headed up a £5mn business line. Nick re-joined in 2016 and now heads up Fitch Solutions’ custom research business. Nick has worked with a variety of clients from across geographies and sectors, among them a trade association in North America, a development bank in Africa, a professional services company in Asia, a consumer brand in Europe and an oil & gas company in Middle East.

Richard Marshall is Head of Infrastructure, Power and Renewables Research at Fitch Solutions. Richard’s role is to formulate strategy and analysis for Fitch clients surrounding the transport and energy infrastructure sectors, as well as the construction industry globally. He has prior experience at one of the largest contracting firms in Bahrain where he was exposed to the infrastructure industry's inner workings and the risks of operating in emerging markets. Richard holds a MSci (Hons) International Relations and Global Issues from the University of Nottingham and the University of Hong Kong. Richard joined Fitch Solutions in 2013, and has since spent extended periods in Fitch Solutions’ office in South Africa.

Joseph Gatdula joined Fitch Solutions in September 2018 as Head of Oil & Gas Analysis, and is based in the London office. He oversees a number of key areas including analysis, content and product development. Key components include the supply and demand of energy and their effects on global oil and gas prices. He also fosters the development of expertise in the practice. Supported by a diverse team of analysts he works closely with sales to sharpen the commercial offering for clients.
Joseph's background includes diverse roles as a geologist, management consultant and software developer supporting a diverse set clients from multiple industries from oil and gas, manufacturing, aerospace and media. Emma joined Fitch Solutions in 2014 and has almost ten years’ experience in the energy sector, having previously worked for both consultancies and NGOs as a researcher and analyst. She is a CFA charterholder and is currently completing an MSc in Quantitative Finance.

Ivana joined Fitch Solutions in September 2015 as a data analyst. She covers markets across Latin America, Europe, MENA, Asia and Africa and has a keen interest for international affairs. Prior to taking up her current role she worked in the data team, focusing on product development and forecasting. Ivana currently resides in South Africa but was born in Bosnia-Herzegovina and spent her childhood in Zimbabwe. She majored in International Relations, Economics and French at the University of Pretoria and has a Masters in Economics from the University of Manchester in the UK.

Jeffrey Lamoureux leads the Americas Country Risk team and covers Brazil, Argentina and the Southern Cone. He joined Fitch Solutions in 2015 after finishing an MA at the University of Chicago. Jeffrey works to ensure quality and consistency in our data, analysis and presentation, and to refine forecasting methodologies.

Before joining the Economist Group she worked as an emerging market economist at Trusted Sources (now known as TS Lombard). Over the years Anwita has extensively covered the larger economies of South East Asia including Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand. Anwita has a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Warwick where she specialized in Labor Economics and Public Policy. Anwita also speaks Bengali and Hindi.
Based in Singapore, Sakshi joined the Fitch Solutions Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare team in 2017. She specialises in trends and developments in the Asia Pacific region, as well as company growth strategies. Sakshi is regularly involved in custom research projects, identifying market entry and expansion opportunities and developing data-driven insights for clients. Prior to joining Fitch Solutions, Sakshi worked as a consultant at Clearstate, focused on the pharmaceutical industry. Sakshi holds an MSc in International Health Management from Imperial College London.
Sabrin is a Senior Commodities Analyst who joined Fitch Solutions in 2015. She manages a portfolio of key industrial and precious metals analysis, focusing on global commodity price forecasting and thematic analysis of the Asian and MENA mining landscapes. Based in Singapore, she specialises in gold, iron ore, steel, and coal. Sabrin has been quoted multiple times by the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and other noteworthy media channels. She regularly engages with clients hailing from banks, asset management firms, consultancies, government agencies and corporations. Sabrin previously worked at ING Bank and holds a Master’s Degree with distinction in Financial Forecasting and Investment from the University of Glasgow. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
Peter joined Fitch Solutions in 2015 as a specialist in oil and gas and manages a portfolio of key markets across Asia Pacific along with global price forecasting of Brent, gasoil, bunker fuel and LNG. Based in Singapore, Peter is a frequent fixture in major media outlets and regularly holds speaking engagements with banks, asset managers, consultancies, government agencies and corporations throughout the region. Prior to joining Fitch Solutions, Peter worked in the US and South Korea, conducting public policy research at the Center for International Relations and South Korea’s Ministry of Unification. Peter holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy & Management from Heinz College, Carnegie Mellon University.
Nicolas is Fitch Solutions’ Global Market Strategist. Part of the Global Strategy Team, he helps connect the dots between the economic, country risk and industry research in order to form comprehensive views on financial markets. Based in Singapore, Nicolas has gained over a decade of financial markets experience starting as a junior portfolio manager trading volatility for Société Générale Asset Management’s hedge fund division, before becoming a seasoned analyst on FICC markets. Born and educated in Paris, Nicolas holds a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from ESILV Paris and a Bachelor of Physics from Université de Paris.
